Malek is committed to protecting users’ personal information to the highest standards.
This policy explains what information the Malek platform (Zanjireh Zarreh Malek Company, Private Joint Stock) collects from users, how it uses that information and what rights users have.
Information we collect
To provide its services, the platform requests information from users including identity information (first and last name, father’s name, national ID number and date of birth), address and postal code, bank account and card details, and phone number. This information is collected only as necessary and in proportion to purposes such as identity verification, service delivery, resolving system issues and tracking transactions.
How we use information
Collected information is used solely to provide the platform’s services, verify identity, process transactions, communicate with users and improve our services. It is used only by the platform and is under no circumstances provided to third parties.
Confidentiality
Users’ personally identifiable information is kept confidential by the platform, and the platform undertakes not to disclose it to third parties unless it is required to provide the data to competent authorities by order of a competent judicial authority or in compliance with an explicit provision of the country’s laws and regulations.
Information security
Malek uses end-to-end encryption, the TLS 1.3 protocol and AES-256 algorithms to protect users’ information. Access to sensitive information is limited to authorized staff.
Your rights
If needed, users may submit a written request to the platform to delete the information collected about them. Users also have the right to know what information is stored about them.
